During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five travel and local apps in Brazil demonstrated distinct trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Airbnb saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 123K in late September and peaking at 219K in the final week of December. The app's weekly active users also rose, beginning at roughly 966K and reaching a high of 1.34M by the end of the quarter.

Decolar: Voos e Hotéis experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at around 84K in late September and peaking at 136K in mid-November. The app's active user base increased from 746K to 887K over the same period.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning at 107K in late September and peaking at 133K in the last week of December. The number of active users grew from approximately 2.12M to 2.84M, indicating a strong user engagement.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 68K in late September and surging to 166K in the final week of December. The weekly active users also grew from 1.54M to 1.85M during the quarter.

ClickBus - Bus Tickets recorded consistent growth in downloads, starting at 51K in late September and reaching 120K by the end of December. The app's active users increased from 155K to 256K over the same period.
